Father’s Day Workshop
In honor of Father's Day, Latina Girls Code is having a father/daughter coding workshop. Fathers and daughters will participate in a photo shoot and work on a coding project together. No prior computing experience necessary. Computers Provided.

Latina Girls Code: How do Sharks Swim? Ages 13+
In this camp, students will learn to understand 3-dimensional space and how sharks move within it. Participants will explore how sharks change direction using rotations on the Z, Y an X axes, and connect an understanding of shark anatomy to these movements. Participants will build a prototype shark and a joystick controller and maneuver their shark within a virtual marine environment in Excel.

Girls will be able to speak with a panel of women in technology fields, create a LinkedIn account, and learn to Create Amazing Videos with Mixed Reality and 3D. Ages 14+

Girls will be able to meet members of the Microsoft LatinX at Microsoft Employee Resource Group. Then girls will learn to Code a Talking Robot. Ages 7+
